I carry the Soirée in my tasting room and feature it on my Merlot. My Merlot is young and has a very tight tannin structure, however in order to allow people to "taste" the Merlot I serve it with the Soirée. The Soirée not only enhances the wine, the way decanting is supposed to, it adds an extra touch to the service we provide in the tasting room. We really like the Soirée. We use Soirée's on all of our red wines that we serve in the tasting room. In using them (Soirée) on our wines we get to serve a more open and balanced wine, plus our guests are always excited as they usually have not seen them used before. It is cool, they (Soirée's) draw attention to our wines, open our reds up immediately, and they make for great gifts in the tasting room; which guests are quick to purchase.
